I had the pleasure of attending a Fangeek event recently and I have to say it completely exceeded my expectations. The organizers were professional and efficient, it was well organized and smoothly run and never felt rigorously scheduled or forced. They made everyone feel like the most important person in the room and the personal touches they put on the experience made it a night I’m never going to forget. If I have an opportunity to attend another event in the future, I won’t hesitate. – Attendee, Nicholas Brendon’s meet and greet
FanGeek events are top notch. I had the pleasure of attending two this year — both Nicholas Brendon events–and I have to say that they were not only well organized, but hella fun. Both went off without a hitch, and I felt like they were dollars well spent.
FanGeek keeps their word as to what will be given at an event, even if that means going into overtime. Personalized gifts are given to each attendee, along with warm welcomes.
I was lucky to attend the Wicked Awesome Night Out with Nick Brendon recently and can’t stop raving about it to my friends. As someone who has worked in Promotions/Events for 10 years, I tend to have a critical eye towards events of this type. Not only do I look at it from the Organizer perspective on what I would do differently, but I also look at it from the fan perspective and if I’m having fun and getting my money’s worth.
I can honestly say that this was an extremely well organized & enjoyable evening. The evening was relaxed and highly entertaining. One thing that truly impressed me about this event was that I expected Nick to go around to each person at their tables where he would sign things & take pictures at the table. I didn’t expect him to chat and then have individual facetime planned for later in the evening. Of all the Meet & Greets I’ve gone to I thought that was fantastic way to organize it. My friends & I were able to have a conversation with Nick and not a “hi, nice to meet you” and take a picture, and that’s it.
Jacqui did a great job of selecting the venue (quite appropriate), and organizing the events of the night. She made sure that Nick got to chat with everyone and didn’t rush it. She also set up a separate area for facetime with Nick. He would sign items you brought up and take pictures with you. Nick was quite charming & made you feel immediately relaxed as if you’ve known him for years. — Attendee, A Wicked Awesome Evening with Nicholas Brendon
